I have been blessed with several custom orders these last couple of weeks. I recently received an email from a customer of mine, Robyn, who purchased one of my shabby totes last year. She told me how much she loved her purse and was interested in ordering a larger version. I went through my fabric stash and found some of the "Madeira" collection I had been saving. It was just the right combination of colors she was looking for.
I took a picture to share with you. This bag is 12 in wide x 12 in tall x 4 in deep. When I first started making this size 2 years ago, it seemed too big for most customers and they preferred a smaller bag. Now, it seems customers want a larger bag and I have been getting quite a few requests for the bigger shabby totes. I just listed a "Chelsea Market" bag in this same size in my Etsy shop this morning This bag has been sold! I personally prefer the larger size in the shabby tote, how about you?
