When it rains

It never fails.

Just when we have committed ourselves to

purchasing laminate flooring for the family room,

and we chiseled out the tile in the front hallway,

our refrigerator decided to die.

The part that failed,

was the same part we had repaired,

and replaced, three years ago.

The part that was supposed to last another 15 years.

Well, sooner than we had planned,

we purchased a new refrigerator.

When the delivery men brought it into the kitchen,

we realized the new refrigerator was

1/4" too wide for the opening.

We had to remove the wood trim in order to slide the refrigerator into its opening.

Alls well that ends well in the kitchen for now.

Tomorrow the installation of the new flooring!
